The NEW Bali 4.4, a veritable mobile home

a veritable mobile home ...

Highlights of this 2022 design begin with a solid deck and second cockpit forward, access through the watertight door directly to the saloon, huge L-shaped galley forward, 600 litre-2 door floor to ceiling fridge with an icemaker and cold water fountain in the door, the Bali aft bulkhead hydraulic lift connecting the saloon to the aft cockpit, a helm station offering terrific all round visibility with adjacent sun beds.

All in all, 85sqm of deck space before you even get to the cabins. It’s got more space than some apartments. Below deck but still with plenty of open space there are three cabins – the owners’ double cabin takes all the port side with private facilities of course, while the two cabins to starboard are still sizeable and again have private facilities.

The whole yacht is fully air-conditioned, there is a water maker and generator, which makes the Bali hugely self sufficient for those hideaway locations where there are no shops, no electricity and no people!

For the sailors the Bali is narrower and lighter than her competition and carries up to 150sqm of upwind sail area, which includes a square top main, self-tacking jib and a furling code zero. The main is fully battened and rests in a zip up stack-pack on the boom.

They say location is everything but how about being able to change it when you would rather be somewhere else!

Yacht Share Mariner has ordered the first highly optioned Bali 4.4 to come to Australia, where she will be launched at the Sydney International Boat Show in July. Ownership of the yacht will be syndicated by Yacht Share Mariner at A$212,000 for a 1/8th share with each owner enjoying six weeks on board. The yacht will be operated by joint venture partner, Dream Yacht Charter, from the Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach. She’ll be back in Sydney for the southern hemisphere summer of 2022-3.

After the Boat Show the Bali will follow the trade winds gently up the NSW and Queensland coasts to Airlie Beach with a professional skipper on board, offering stops along the way at places like Port Stephens, Yamba and the Clarence River, Tin Can Bay, Fraser Island, Great Keppell Island and on to the islands of the Barrier Reef. The temperatures will be rising during the whole voyage.

Owners will have the option to participate in this voyage using their six-week entitlement. Yacht Share Mariner will manage the usage of the yacht by its owners and deal with the finances using the inclusive monthly fee of $1,350 per owner, which is inclusive of berthing, insurance, operating expenses, routine mechanical services and management by Yacht Share Mariner.
